Each year when it's time for the Crosby--excuse me, the AT T National Pro-Am, I'm ready to sit by the television hour after hour and watch the tour players and the celebs play the paradise. Let the winds blow and let it be cold; or let it be calm and the weather sunny and warm. It doesn't matter to me, because this is Pebble, one of golf's beautiful places. If there's a better or more lovely finishing hole than the par-five 18th that winds around the bay, I'd like to know about it. Pebble is something else all right.
