Future World
Spaceship Earth: An indoor Educational ride through the past, present and future. Guests travel in cars that wind their way through the inside of Epcot's 18-story icon. Experience and learn about mans progress in communication from cave drawings to computer networking. Disney's Imagineers have employed a good number of Audio-Animatronic actors to depict the various stages of our development and evolution in communication.
Innoventions: This walk through exhibit houses different hands-on presentations of the near future in technology for our everyday lives. A full appreciation of these exhibits requires a commitment in both time and participation.
Living Seas: This exhibit has more to offer guests perhaps any other exhibit in Future World. This three-part exhibit is all centered around the 27-foot-deep, 200-foot diameter main salt-water aquarium where an extensive collection of sea life are both displayed and studied. Guests first view a short film then travel by boat through the huge aquarium. Often over looked is the extensive and hands on exhibits at the conclusion of your journey. This attraction should not be rushed so either schedule it for mid-afternoon or on a second day visit to Epcot.
The Land Pavilion: This is a huge pavilion that houses three separate attractions, as well as a large and diverse food court and a revolving restaurant.
* The Circle of Life - The Lion king characters make up the cast for this animated film that depicts man and his relationship with the environment. Presentation runs a little under 15-minutes
* Food Rocks - Audio-Animatronic Theater show that features singing foods and kitchen utensils. Recognizable rock tunes done in parity that deliver a lighthearted message about food and nutrition. Presentation runs a little under 15-minutes
* Living with the Land - An indoor boat ride that takes you past scenes of farming as it was, is and will be in the future. Many visitors are surprised at the level of entertainment to be found in this not to be missed attraction.
* Journey into Your Imagination - Re-worked with a new look that premiered June 1st, 2002. Adventure ride into a zany workshop with a special appearance by Figment. Presentation runs a little under 15-minutes
* Honey I Shrunk The Audience - Not to be missed 3-D film that borrows its characters and story line from the Disney feature film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. "Special affects" from moving seats to a smoke filled theater greatly enhance the experience.
* The Image Works - A special hands on display of some of the latest in imagery gadgets.
Test Track: Join five other guests as you share a car for a test run through sharp turns, bumpy roads and a hold to your hat ride around the track at 65 mph. At just under 5-minutes and with a top speed of 65 mph this is the longest and fastest ride at Walt Disney World.

Wonders of Life: This dome shaped pavilion presents different aspects of the human body. Some of the bodies' capabilities and means by which we can keep it fit are highlighted.
Body Wars: Guests are taken on a simulator ride through the human body as they race to rescue a scientist who has been inspecting it.
Cranium Command: One of the best and most overlooked attractions at Epcot. This Audio-Animatronic theater show presents the brain in a way that is both funny and entertaining. Try making this 15-minute show a not to be missed attraction.
"The Making Of Me": This well handled and sensitive movie about human conception, gestation and birth allows the main character to go back and watch as his parents fall in love, marry, conceive and give birth to him. Depending on the age of your children it may provoke questions that you may or may not be ready to answer as you make your way to "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" It's your vacation you be the judge.
Fitness Fairgrounds: A hands on opportunity to explore a variety of fitness exhibits, tests and demonstrations.
Universe of Energy: Guests settle into a theater, which on cue breaks into cars that allows guests to ride past scenes of Audio-Animatronic dinosaurs and a prehistoric forest complete with special affects. Ellen DeGeneres guest stars in an entertaining film that sets the plot for this attraction.
The Mom, I Can't Believe It's Disney!" Fountain: A spontaneous eruption of water that spouts up from and down on the walkway that leads between Future World and World Showcase.
Mission: Space: Next headline attraction to join Future World. Currently under construction and scheduled to open sometime in 2003. Offering guests a one-of-a-kind "astronaut-like" experience, Mission: SPACE will launch guests into a simulated space adventure -- from pulse-racing lift-off to weightlessness in outer space.
World Showcase
Mexico: Guests often focus on the boat ride along the El Rio del Tiempo (The River of Time) that takes riders on a lazy trip past Audio-Animatronic displays and projection movies of the various cultures that make up the history of Mexico. Many guests also simply remember this pavilion as the building that houses the Mexican restaurant. But the real treasure lies in collection of authentic artifacts and art displays on view here and the beautiful village depicted inside.
Norway: Malestrom is an exciting but sad to say brief adventure boat ride that is one of the features at this pavilion. Guests travel past some pretty impressive special affects that afford a glimpse at some of the host countries history. Pay attention or you will miss the collection of trolls, rivers scenes, angry sea and oh yea the backwards waterfall. Before you rush off take note of the authentic and varied architecture that beautifully displays some of Norway's rich culture. This pavilion also plays host to Akershus, a restaurant that offers a cold and hot buffet of traditional Norwegian dishes.
China: A well-produced twenty-minute Circle Mision 360 film called the Wonders of China will introduce you to the people and beauty of the host country. Guest must stand through the film but the wait is usually never very long. Before, after or in place of the film try spending a few minutes to walk through this pavilions beautiful gardens and ponds. Truly worth the time and effort. Guests will also fine a sit down full service and counter service restaurant.
Germany: Enter the central plaza and you will find yourself surrounded by traditional German architecture. The plaza is beautifully decorated with a fountain that tells of the victory of Saint George over the dragon. The Biergarten a full service all-you-care to eat German “Beer Hallis both tasty and delightful with good food and traditional German music.
Italy: Italian landmarks such as the replication of the105-foot tall bell tower and the Dogge's Palace both found in St. Mark's Square in Venice lend to the sights and sounds of this pavilion. The very popular eatery Lriginale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante will also be found here.
American Adventure A mixed media presentation that is both bold and ambitious even by Disney standards. Even though guests may debate whether the history lesson is entirely honest or at the very least complete you can't argue that it is well done. Surprise! Guests will also find a fast food restaurant serving up hamburgers and hot dogs.
Japan: Large and grand in scale with a five-story pagoda and beautiful gardens this pavilion possibly offers one of the best opportunities in World Showcase to relax and remind yourself you are on vacation. Wander in the Bijutsu-kan Gallery and enjoy the impressive displays of art and cultural exhibits or browse through the retail area both of which are housed in a building that was inspired by the coronation hall at the Imperial Palace in Kyoto.
Morocco: Its extraordinary attention to detail makes this pavilion worthy of more than just a passing glance. A bustling marketplace along with the Restaurant Marrakesh, which offers guests a rare opportunity to enjoy fine North African cuisine only enhance the experience.
France: From the 1/10 scale model of the Eiffel Tower to the quaint sidewalk cafes and charming boutiques Disney captures the essence of late 1900 France. An 18-minute film is presented in a comfortable theater that will introduce viewers to the French people and their country.
United Kingdom: A somewhat over bearing attempt to recreate a feel and sense of the host country. If think you might enjoy a beer while touring World Showcase then stop in this pavilion's pub and skip the rest.
Canada: This large Chateau-styled Pavilion is well suited for this vast and beautiful country, The Canadian people and their country are also well represented during the 18-minute film (Olanada) that is displayed in circle vision. This pavilion also plays host to Le Cellier, an excellent steakhouse.
