Name: 12 Girls Band
12 Girls Band was founded in June,2001. She is such a popular artistic party as combines China's traditional musical instruments with modalities of modern popular musical performances. With dainty musical rhythms and passionate performances, she manages to enlarge the group of people who enjoy Chinese folk instrumental music, and thus develops Chinese folk music both home and abroad.
The members of 12 Girls Band have come from such famous artistic colleges and universities as Central Conservatory of Music, China Conservatory, Central University for Nationalities and PLA Art College. Their musical instruments mainly include those Chinese musical instruments like guzheng, dulcimer, pipa, erhu, zhudi, xiao, hulusi, duxianqin etc.
