By Little Bill | Reporter Date: 03/04/2007
The Xda IIi offers businesses tri-band functionality,
and therefore may be used worldwide, and also offers
Bluetooth and optional wireless LAN capability for
seamless connectivity.

Customers can access a range of business services and
applications, including Microsoft Exchange Server which
offer the ability to access corporate email on the move.
O2 is a leading provider of mobile services to consumers
and businesses in the UK. It is the leader in non-voice
services, including text, media messaging, games, music
and video, as well as always on data connections via
GPRS, 3G and WLAN. Each month O2's nearly 13.9 million
customers send more than three quarters of a billion
text messages. O2 (UK) is a subsidiary of mmo2 plc which
also owns O2 branded mobile operators in Ireland and
Germany as well as the O2 Airwave emergency services
network in the UK.
Building on the popularity of the highly acclaimed Xda
II series, O2 today announced that it is adding to its
Xda portfolio with the launch of the new Xda IIi. Based
on the Windows Mobile 2003 platform, the integrated pda
and mobile phone device features the latest cutting edge
technology and contemporary design, to offer faster
connections on the move.
Following the hugely successful Xda II, the Xda IIi
offers an advanced way of working in 2005. Its Intel
PXA272 processor, which runs up to 520MHz, makes it
faster than the Xda II, whilst the latest Windows Mobile
2003 second edition software enables landscape working,
making it the ideal tool for busy people on the move.
In addition the Xda IIi's improved 1.3 mega pixel camera
means users can take high quality pictures of friends
and family or capture images for use at any time,
wherever they may be.
Together with integrated Wireless LAN capability, users
can browse the Internet, access emails and download data
such as music, ringtones, games, news services and other
premium content whilst on the move and at much faster
speeds.
