HP Introduces Ultra-Thin & Light iPAQ Pocket PC h1910 Series

Hewlett-Packard expanded the world's No. 1 selling Pocket PC family with the launch of the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h1910 series, an ultra thin and ultra light Pocket PC for individuals on the go. "HP is focused on delivering innovative handhelds that make technology more enjoyable for our customers. The introduction of the ultra thin and ultra light HP iPAQ Pocket PC h1900 series is another step towards that goal," said HP spokesperson. "The new handhelds are ideal for people on the move who want to be connected to their critical information, yet have some fun in the meantime." The award-winning iPAQ Pocket PC h1900 series is designed for the individual on the go, offering an ideal combination of features and distinctive design to fit an active lifestyle, such as a stereo earpiece and transflective display screen that lets them play multimedia games, enjoy WMA and MP3 music files, and watch Windows Media videos while on the move. HP's smallest iPAQ Pocket PC The iPAQ Pocket PC h1900 series has sleek dimensions of 113.3 x 69.8 x 12.8 mm (l x w x h), weigh only 120 grams and is barely larger than its 89 mm (diagonal) screen. As a matter of fact, the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h1900 series has one of the largest screens for such a small form factor Pocket PC. The ultra thin and ultra light Pocket PC device features the same legendary screen technology as the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h3900 series and the recently launched h5450. The transflective liquid crystal display combines the rich color saturation and high contrast of a backlit TFT display, while maintaining the ability to view the screen outdoors in bright sunlight. The iPAQ Pocket PC h1900 series has 64 MB RAM, a secure digital (SD) expansion slot for additional storage, a removable slim battery and a synchronization cable. The HP iPAQ Pocket PC h1900 series is powered by Microsoft Windows for Pocket PC 2002 and the 200-MHz Intel X-Scale PXA250 applications processor for accelerated multimedia and security.
