Microsoft & Samsung Reveal Powered PPC For GSM/GPRS
Networks
At 3GSM World Congress 2003, the No. 1 software developer Microsoft
and Samsung Electronics, the world's third-largest manufacturer of
wireless handsets, officially unveiled the Samsung Windows Powered
MITs (Mobile Intelligent Terminal by Samsung) SGH-i700, a Windows
Powered Pocket PC.
The Samsung MITs SGH-i700 Pocket PC will allow customers to
wirelessly access their Microsoft Outlook messaging and
collaboration client data, play media files, browse the Web while on
the go, as well as make phone calls and send instant and Short
Message Service (SMS) messages. The MITs SGH-i700 Pocket PC is a
wireless PDA with an integrated digital camera, SD card slot, larger
touch-screen display for easy viewing of data, and a stylus for data
input and navigation.
