ICQ SMS

ICQ 2003/5.0/2000b/2002a now releases SMS (Short Message Services) from ICQ to cellular phones of the specified cellular networks and receive replies to your ICQ!





Step 1: Choose “SMS Message” at User Menu()


Step 2: Click “Add SMS number”




Step 3: Add SMS number of the recipient in the “Add / Edit Cellular Number”.



Step 4: 

- Remember to select the correct country

- No need to enter “carrier prefix”

- Enter the correct mobile phone number at “Mobile Number” field

Press “OK” 



Step 5: Type your message (up to 160 characters) and press “Send”

Notice: 

- If you wanna send a copy to ICQ too, please choose “Send Copy by ICQ Message”

- A “To:” function will appear when pressing “Send SMS Message” Window.



- Press “To” icon to automatically add the recipients’ name at the field on right hand side. Choose “Remove” to delete names from the listing field.




After successful completion of sending SMS, you’ll see a popup confirmation window.
