IP Address is very vital to every Internet user as others can distinguish which ISP you are using. Therefore shielding your IP Address is necessary. To hide your IP Address:





Step 1: Press ICQ Menu and select “Security & Privacy Permission”
Step 2: Turn to “Security” folder
Step 3: Choose “Do not publish IP Address”



You can also select “My authorization is required” at the “authorization request” mode under “security” folder. Therefore others must need your approval before adding in your list. A careful way to select your net chatters is required to prevent ICQ Bomb.
