Remove ICQ 2003  Pro Banner

Starting from March 2001, you'll see a disturbing banner at each of your ICQ message box. Now I'm going to tell you how to get rid of it…



Method 1: ICQ Pro 2003a Crack Package

Step 1: Turn off your ICQ
Step 2: Click HERE to download the program:

Description
-remove the banners
-show IP in the Users Details
-autoupdate = no
-lets you enter/search/register multiline (password, firstname, lastname, nickname and email address)





Step 3: Execute the program & choose "NEXT" for ICQ location (e.g. C:\Program files\ICQ)

Step 4: Click "Exit" & Re-open ICQ again
Banner Gone!!! The disturbing banner at each of your ICQ message box is disappeared.

Method 2: Universal ICQ Patcher

Usage: Close ICQ application, copy the PATCH.EXE file to the ICQ working directory and execute it. Wait while the program finishes working, it can take a few minutes. If you are using the patcher under WinNT/2k/XP, you also should copy the ntpatch.bat and DELTREE.EXE files from ForNT directory and execute the ntpatch.bat script instead of PATCH.EXE.

Two ways for a 100% clean ICQ 2001/2002 (No Ads or Ad Boxes)

1. Making a clean install:
- install it
- before the first start of ICQ kill the ICQhttp.dll
- Delete the AteBrowser folder and create a "Read Only" text file named AteBrowser (No Extension)
- set Auto Update = No ( HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mirabilis\ICQ\DefaultPrefs )
- your ICQ will stay add-free



2. Killing adds from a existing version:
! You will loose your message history and most of your settings !
! Your contact list MUST be on ICQ server, or you will lose it too!

- Completely Close ICQ
- delete ICQhttp.dll
- set Auto Update = No ( HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mirabilis\ICQ\DefaultPrefs )
- remove the 2001a folder and the Contact List folder
- Delete the AteBrowser folder and create a "Read Only" text file named AteBrowser (No Extension)
- restart ICQ
- type in your ICQ Number and password
- set all your lost settings again
- Contact List will be loaded from the server
- ICQ will stay 100 % add-free
