How to Chat

Chat room is the most powerful function for ICQ. You can instantly view another side’s responses for chat, and at the same time, respond other’s messages dialogue.





Simply choose “Send / Start ICQ Chat" at your friend’s nickname, and so you can begin your chat. Then you should:



Step 1: Enter your reason for the Chat request in “Enter Chat Subject" text box
Step 2: Click “Chat"

Another side can choose “Accept for chat or “Do not Accept to refuse". 

ICQ Chat Room can be in IRC and Spilt-screen styles. If more than two people in the same session, you’d better adopt “IRC mode - input their conversations at the end of the window and press “Enter"







If you wanna invite more than two friends for chat, remember not to press “Chat" (otherwise you will open another chat session), but select “Join Session".
