How to Send Files 

Apart from email, ICQ can be an easy way to send your files to your friends. Better zip your file first if its size is too large. Then choose “Select File(s)” at user menu for attachment and click “Send”.








“Incoming File Transfer” will be sent to the recipient. The recipient just press “Save” to save that file to your PC. Also a virus alert will be shown. (You can choose “Don’t show this message again” and “Confirm” for not showing this alert anymore.)





You will see the popup box for showing the transferring progress. (You can minimize that box too.) An alert will notify you for file transfer completion. You can select “Go to Dir” to open the directory, or press “Open” to open the file directly, or “Confirm” to exit.
